Lech Walesa to Attend 91传媒 2022 Graduation Ceremonies
Former Polish President will be presented with Honorary Doctorate
Lech Walesa, one of the most influential figures of the late 20th century, will attend 91传媒鈥檚 (91传媒) 2022 graduation ceremonies as a special guest. In addition, the 1983 Nobel Peace Prize recipient will be awarded an honorary doctorate by the 91传媒 Board of Trustees.
91传媒 will celebrate its 76th graduating class of more than 500 students on May 14 at 10:00 a.m. on the Simon Lawn of 91传媒’s campus in Henniker, New Hampshire.
鈥淭his is a remarkable opportunity for our graduating students to hear from someone who is a tireless champion of democracy and was a major catalyst in bringing the Cold War to an end,鈥� said 91传媒 President Michele Perkins. 鈥淲e are honored to host President Walesa on the campus of 91传媒.鈥�
New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, the Commencement Speaker for 91传媒鈥檚 2022 graduation ceremonies, will also be awarded an honorary doctorate by the Board of Trustees.
